Hermle 8-day Triple Chime Chain Drive: Like all of our grandfather movements, this popular 8-day, chain-driven
movement has a one second beat (3600 per hour), sometimes referred to as the Royal Beat. The deep-toned Westminster,
Whittington and St. Michael's chimes are played on 8 tuned rods and 4 rods simultaneously strike out the hour.
The movement also features a second hand just below 12 o'clock, and a convenient lever at 3 o'clock permits chime
selection and silencing. An anchor automatic escapement provides easy pendulum beat regulation, a feature you'll
also ?nd on all of our grand-father movements. The standard pendulum rod is wood with a 6-1/2" (165 mm) diameter
disc. The plate size is 7.87" (200 mm) wide x 5.5" (140 mm) high. Hands, chime rods, weight shells, weight
?llings and mounting accessories are included.When night shut off feature is activated, the movement will not chime
between 10 pm and 7 am.

All movements come with the standard pendulum, which has a wooden rod. This can be substituted with a lyre pendulum,
described under the Special Pendulums section on page 31.

Hermle 8-day Westminster Chime Cable Drive
This movement is the same plate size as the H3T, but requires less depth, since there are only 4 rods playing out
the Westminster chime, mounted behind the movement, and 4 rods for the strike. It has the same features, including
the chime silencing lever at 3 o'clock and a second hand mounted just below the 12 o'clock on the dial. Also an
8-day movement, but with a cable drive feature to facilitate winding. The movement comes complete with hands, chime
rods, weight shells, weight ?llings, mounting accessories and standard pendulum. When night shut off feature is
activated, the movement will not chime between 10 pm and 7 am.

by a chime selection and silencing lever at 3 o'clock. The large plates measure 8.66" (220 mm) wide x 6"
(15.2 mm) high. It has the same features as our other grandfather movements, including a second hand and one second
beat, but it has a slightly heavier construction. When night shut off feature is activated, the movement will not
chime between 10 pm and 7 am.
